Micah Justice
Micah Justice (Vocals, Songwriter, rhythm guitar) was born into the Wilson/Henderson clan. She comes from a large family of 7 siblings. She grew up predominately in Riverside,California. She attended RiversidePolyHigh School where she received a scholarship for vocal and instrumental music, and theater.
She attended UC Santa Barbara and was accepted into the BFA Program in acting but due to family circumstances, decided to graduate early with a degree in Dramatic Art with an emphasis in Dramatic Literature. While in college she was given a guitar from her parents and she started turning her volumes and volumes of creative writing and poetry into songs.
She returned to Riverside and acted professionally in local and regional theaters winning several awards. While in college working on a civic event, she was introduced to Jenni Alpert. A year later, Jenni invited Micah to go on a West Coast Tour with her. Micah decided to take advantage of the opportunity and went all the way to Seattle and back playing in cities such as Sacramento, Berkeley, Portland, and Eugene, etc. She learned a lot.
Micah also wanted to continue her education and found that she liked teaching about subbing for several years. With the encouragement of fellow musician Chris Thayer, she decided she could both teach and focus on her music. She returned to the University of Redlands for a Multiple Subject, and then toCalState,San Bernardino to get her K-12 Specialist Credential, as well as a Master's in Special Education. She currently teaches high school English at Canyon Springs High School....at least for now.
She has been married since 2003 and has one daughter. She lives in Riverside and continues to play through out the United States, including Arizona, Texas, Florida, and New York.
Ernie Escalera (Bass) hails from Bakersfield. He started playing bass when nu-metal was topping the charts. But his playing roots deep in country, reggae, soul and classic rock. Also, as obvious by this bio, he is a man of many words!
Our music?... it is honest, artistic, and eclectic. Take a listen...
